This newly opened local Brunswick hangout entices you with pastel panelled timber, layers of greenery, custom pink wallpapers, floating roof panelling and a neon sign planted within a vertical garden, trust us when we say this cafe is totally #instagramworthy. The attention to detail is difficult to go unnoticed. Whilst each element is thought through, they all play their part in creating a harmonic space and evoking feelings of joy.
The inspiration was based off the idea of bringing a sense of community. With Brunswick being such a local interactive environment, the focus was on making the cafe feel friendly and hospitable to compliment it’s surroundings. Being approachable was a key objective of the cafe, to be a stand out local resource for residents nearby and accommodating the diverse community of Brunswick. The use of soft hues, natural materials and greenery instantly make you feel warm and welcomed. It’s kind of like your Grandma’s backyard (if your Grandma is cool). It was important amongst the aesthetic that humour and personality was injected to encourage a relaxed and informal vibe.
